Ask someone outside Bihar to name a Bihari dish. Most stop at litti chokha. In Darbhanga, in north Bihar, pickles still sit in the sun for days, sometimes weeks, before anyone opens the jar. That’s where all of ours are made, in mustard oil, with spices ground by hand. The 5-jar sample pack is our most ordered. This season we rebuilt it, reworking the recipes after 5+ years of customer feedback. The garlic ginger green chilli jar, for example, now lets you taste garlic, ginger and chilli as three separate notes.
