Pista green, and a walk that felt like a deep breath! There's something about Marina Walk in the early evening — the water catching the light, the towers going soft and gold, and me in the one outfit nobody else has.

I designed this linen silk salwar kameez myself. Pista green, hand-picked rose print, that pink piping down the placket, and a dupatta that just moves when the breeze comes off the water. linen silk in Dubai isn't impractical — it's the most breathable luxury there is, and it makes an ordinary evening walk feel like an occasion.

This is my reminder to every woman reading: you don't need a wedding invite to wear the beautiful thing. Wear it on a Tuesday. Wear it to walk by the water. Wear it because you made it.
